We found the Morning Glory's lovely roof deck, with its reclining chairs, harbor view, ocean breeze, and hanging flowers, as much a draw as the historical sites. An afternoon on that deck with a book and sunscreen is a perfect antidote to an overly busy week at work. Shea and his partner, Marcel Dufour, are warm, welcoming, and attentive...after more than a decade in the business, Shea seems to have mastered innkeeping in every way.

We had the great fortune of staying here one night while in Salem. We loved the city but loved staying with Bob even more. He is so very kind and we loved his conversation during breakfast. My husband and I stay in B&B's often and this is the first time that the owner ever sat down with us for breakfast...

Very late with this review, but had to write it! Morning Glory was the 1st B&B my daughter & I have ever stayed at. We are now spoiled and cannot find anything that compares to it anywhere. Great location, affordable prices, immaculate accomodations and property, wonderful breakfast, decor, everything you would expect and beyond! We cannot say enough to express...

Marcel and Bob are awesome! Their attention for detail and design are incomparable. This bed and breakfast made our honeymoon get a way complete and very romantic. And the best part is that it was very reasonably priced (affordable!!!)and clean. Its location is perfect! It’s literally under a mile a way from most places any tourist will want to go.
